Ian Clark
About
Ian Clark is a commercial, jazz, and metal guitarist at Anderson University. He is currently a senior getting a bachelors degree in commercial music. Ian grew up in Charleston, South Carolina, but currently lives in Anderson, South Carolina. For the past few years he has played with Authenticity, which is the flagship commercial band for the university. He has been featured in events such as the President’s Gala, the Anderson City Soireé, Homecoming, and various regional performances. Ian also composes original music which will be included in Authenticity’s next album. Ian is a multi instrumentalist, who plays, saxophone, electric bass, and vocals. During the summer of 2024 Ian interned with Pour House Charleston. While interning there, he worked with many bands such as Papadosio, Perpetual Grooves, and Space Armadillo. Ian plans to continue his education by pursuing a masters degree in music. From there he plans to start a band and tour around the world.
